Praise to Allah and the blessings and peace on our Lord Muhammad the Messenger of Allah; on his progeny and his companions all.
The women-exclusive religious Seminary named the ‘Jamiatul Muminaat al Islamia’ is a distinguished seat of learning bought into being by some men of Islamic learning in the city of Lucknow (India) in the front line of whom was the youthful Islamic Scholar the Late Mohammad Rizwan Nadwi, former teacher in the Sharia College Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow on behalf of the Darul Ifta, Kingdom of Saudia Arabia. In fact this is a Muslim women-exclusive public college which is engaged in adorning the female wing of the Muslim Society for over seven years with the knowledge both sacred and secular. Thus far, a great number of Muslim women has completed its education thanks to this Jamia Lucknow is a much bigger city where live over half a million Muslim. The city is in want of more such Jamias and colleges to cater the educational needs of the Muslim population. The Jamia is located in a locality of the city. Although it owns vast buildings and a Masjid, still there continues a pressing need for more buildings as the Jamia is constantly on the way of progress in terms of the number of the students and its academic performance. The existing buildings have turned too short to accommodate the increasing number. The educational and academic set up of the Jamia is structured after the set up of the Nadwatul Ulama, and is rendering its services of Islamic knowledge under the aegis of the men at the Nadwa. However, the Jamia is independent in so far its financial matter. It meets its vas expenses through the generous assistance on the part of the men of virtue and richer. I hope the Jamia will attract the attention of the philanthropist of the Ummah to enable the Jamia play its constructive role towards the Muslim Community.”
